SPRING EQUINOX 2026

Straight to Penygroes...art gallery open but man said passport moved to lych gate about a mile down the road! Looked at nearby church, no sign of passport, gave up! (had been closed on last visit!) Decided not to try Pant Gwyn again, unable to find stamp at last visit, cottage looked derelict)...near Maes Eilen. On to Trefor. Premier supermarket with pleasant man who stamped passports for us. Then on to Pistyll. At Pistyll (realised welsh for waterfall...nice one by St. Bueno church!). Passport stamp inside church, R donated £10! Really picturesque place with church and waterfall.

WINTER SOLSTICE 2025

On to Maes Eilian cottages (LL55 3EH). B4 bus shelter took path on right. (When you reach next lane cross it to another lane. Take footpath immediately after cottage). Looked around, found house with Pilgrim sign on...PANT GWYN (had A also?). No sign of life and no sign of stamp. On to Llanberis (Jo Brown's) (LL55 4HA)...went in to shop and gentleman stamped passports.  Then to Penygroes (Llun Mewn Fram (gallery and framing shop))...shop closed on Sunday...no sign of stamp!. Decided to go to next church at Clynnog Fawr. Fabulous looking church. Had a good look round, church open, think I left donation via card. Then stamped passports.

Rowen...found ok, nowhere to park so decided to have a drink at pub which had car park. Weather nice too. Then to Capel Scion. Amazing seating...pews like auditorium, great. Had a look round, nice church. Got passports stamped. Then started drive to llangelynnin. Drove around a bit, no go. Stopped in car, me a little walk, still no go. Decided to input church again...noticed option for "old church". Brill, found it. But only car park. Long walk round through wet areas of fields, and climb. Found! Realized congregation in (found to be for Harvest Festival). Had a sing then realised not brought passport books! After 20m returned. R already getting to know everybody. Lady told us they had a new church built awhile ago but people got together and came back here (12th century!). Got passports stamped. Back to Rhyl Travelodge.  In morning went to Abergwyngregyn. Viewed church after walk from car. No passport stamps. Me got car, parked in dodgy place, walked ...

SUMMER SOLSTICE 2025

Drove to Llangernyw, the church is called St Digain with whitewashed walls but nice looking. Church open, found pilgrim stamp inside. Rods crossed all over on pathway.                   On to Eglwysbach to St Martin church. Did not enter church as stamp in porch. Also on display various jams so stamped passports then headed off.
